For Alexander and Stinky, there were only three months that were worth living – June, July, and August. There was no redeeming value in any of the other nine months.

…except around Easter, because you got a vacation from school. From that perspective, Christmas wasn’t that bad either. And one must not forget birthdays, which tended to fall during months not included in summer. Come to think of it, Thanksgiving had its good qualities. And how can one gloss over the greatest day ever – Halloween.
​
Alexander and Stinky are not bad nor are they troublemakers. It’s just that interesting things happen to them and trouble has a way of finding them.
Other than everybody, who should read this book:
